10 Signs: He Is Mr. Wrong

Updated on May 8, 2013

All Is Fair, In Love And War...

Is all fair in love and war; I don't think so. As I've previously stated in one of my older hubs, "10 Ways To Know If He's Just Not That Into You", I'm no Carrie Bradshaw but, I've experienced enough in and out of relationships to, openly share good advice about this senseless game of love. Throughout the course of all the dating, and unhealthy relationships that I've encountered, I've managed to ponder upon the same loser characteristics. Anxiously awaiting, and seeking Mr. Perfect, I continue to stumble upon Mr. Right Now. At, this very moment I realize that Mr. Perfect does not exist; However, there is a Mr. Right, out there, somewhere in this crazy mixed up world. I have drawn the conclusion, that Mr. Right Now, is nothing short of Mr. Wrong. By stating the obvious, in an attempt to prevent some young woman from making the same mistakes, I've decided to help identify, 10 Signs: He Is Mr. Wrong.

Ladies We Cannot Afford To Be Naïve

Being naïve is the most harmful thing in a relationship. Pay close attention to what's going on in your relationships because, nine out of ten times the signs were always there. Most of the time Mr. Wrong reeks and lingers, as loud as a foul order. For starters, he has the type of persona that is not easily accepted, (i,e.....he pisses of the most passive person, no one is fond of him, not even his very own family, and he is consistent with nothing he does.) Please, ladies do not ignore these very obvious characteristics or signs that he is all wrong.

Is Dating Mr. Right Now A Direct Correlation To Date Mr. Wrong

Earlier on I referred to Mr. Wrong as Mr. Right Now, simply because, so many times I have searched for Mr. Right, and ended up being vulnerable and settling for Mr. Right Now. Not because, he was right for me, or I believed that I could spend the rest of my life with him, it was merely the fact that I needed someone to fill the void of a broken heart from the last loser I engaged in a relationship with, or the fact that I felt that I was aging and needed at least the hope of being a mother and bride before I turned 30. Nevertheless all of these things aided in making bad decisions and choosing Mr. Right Now. Ladies please be aware, here is where the problem lies. Mr. Wrong usually plays on vulnerability. Hence, if your vulnerable, that is already one strike, losers whether it be woman, or man plays on vulnerability. So, ladies if you can, be sure to get to know that person entirely before you engage in a relationship of any sort with them.

10 Signs: He Is Mr. Wrong

First sign that he is Mr. Wrong is, that he is a liar. This sign goes without saying but, just in case you have resided in a cave for the last ten years, and you don't know exactly what a liar is let me fill you in. A liar, is one that aids in telling stories that are not true. Just in case, I didn't cover it entirely, here are somethings that he may lie about; Status, money, job, ex-relationships, intentions, whereabouts, basically everything. In most cases, men are terrible liars, so pay close attention and in due time you will catch him in at least, one of those lies.

Second sign that he is Mr. Wrong is, that he is really full of himself. What I mean is, that he is not just overly confident; I mean that he thinks that he is gods gift to the female anatomy. He is so into himself and does everything in regards to, and I quote, "stunting on everybody", not that anyone would ever even pay him any attention or ever make the mistake or caring about him or his involvement with anything.

The third sign that he is Mr. Wrong is, that he has a bad relationship with his mother. Ladies, lets just be real, there are some unfortunate situations where children end up being exposed to a bad mother, or someone not capable of being a mother to their child; but for the most part, boys or growing young men usually love their moms. So, if you find a guy who doesn't value their relationship with their mom, you may want to watch out. FYI, most men love their moms, and usually mate with the women who resembles or reminds them of mom.

Fourth sign that he is Mr. Wrong is, he loves drama. You name the drama he is in it. He loves to gossip, and he basks in the unhappiness of others. If you are familiar with the comedian Katt Williams, he has several excerpts and names for this type that I will refrain from using. However, he was exactly right about this ridiculous character,so be careful. If you are in his circle you just may end up the highlight of his drama. In the words of comedian Kevin Hart, "no one's safe", not his mother, sister, cousins, friends etc. This type of character takes no prisoners.

Fifth sign that he is Mr. Wrong, is that he is very selfish. The only thing important to him is himself, his feelings, his wants, his needs, his desires. He only recognizes one letter of the alphabet, and that letter is I.

The Sixth Sign that he is Mr. Wrong, is that he lacks integrity. He has no principles or values. He has no boundary, so you should expect almost anything from him, i.e, (excessive backstabbing, gossiping, lying etc.).

The Seventh Sign that he is Mr. Wrong, is that he is obnoxious. He is capable of doing anything to result in the embarrassment of others( i.e, name calling, or aiding in the belittling of others, preferably women who possess no interest or concern with him).

The Eighth Sign that he is Mr. Wrong, is that he will attempt to buy your friendship. He will take you out to eat on a regular basis, and buy you things ( i.e, buy nice gifts and all), to keep you from seeing the real him. Note, the items will always be in the form of tangible things, (things that he can come back and repossess, (i.e, a t.v., a car, jewelry, etc).

The Ninth Sign that he is Mr. Wrong, is that he is controlling and clingy. He wants you to spend every waking moment and minute in his presence. He questions your whereabouts, and is always insisting that your not being truthful, when in fact he is the liar. Perhaps, this is the most serious of them all because this is borderline stalkers behavior. If you are dating a person with this characteristic be careful but runaway as fast as you can.

The tenth sign that he is Mr. Wrong, is that he is a master manipulator. For instance, you can't believe anything that comes from his mouth because he will take any situation and flip it around to what he wants and needs it to be. He is never wrong, and as a result he may even apologize, but you better beware he is plotting something or some other way to prevail.

What Should You Do With This Info

Now,that I've given you at least 10 signs of Mr. Wrong, I hope it will aid in you finding Mr.Right. It is important that you know that Mr. Wrong doesn't have to possess all of these signs, just one, of these signs in possession should not go ignored. Since, knowing is half the battle, it has been my pleasure to enlighten you. Be careful, and safe when selecting a mate because one careless oversight may end up being very pricey in the long run.
